A Certificate of Status is an official document issued by the secretary of state that confirms that your entity is authorized to do business in that state. They are often referred to as a “Certificate of Existence” or “Certificate of Good Standing”.
A Certificate of Status confirms that your entity has paid taxes and submitted an annual report (if required).
Turnaround time for a California Certificate of Status is generally the same business day if ordered before 2pm EST.
