What Is a Registered Agent in Missouri?

A registered agent in Missouri is the designated individual or entity authorized to receive service of process, official legal documents, and correspondence from the Missouri Secretary of State on behalf of your business. Every LLC and corporation registered in the state must maintain a registered agent with a physical Missouri address at all times.
